Developed customized software solutions for internet cafés and business consultancy firms, significantly boosting operational efficiency. These innovations led to the creation of over 1,500 employment opportunities across Kerala, with ongoing initiatives aimed at sustaining and further expanding job generation in the region.
India's First Drone Forensic Lab
Established India's first Drone Forensic Lab & Research Centre under the Kerala Police Cyberdome, in collaboration with senior police officials. This pioneering initiative supports drone-related investigations, enhances security infrastructure, and positions Kerala at the forefront of forensic drone technology research and development.
Shaping India's Drone Future
Played a key role in the amendment of the Drone Prohibition Act, facilitating regulatory reforms that enabled wider use of drone technology. This breakthrough helped unlock large-scale employment opportunities and accelerated the growth of India's rapidly emerging drone industry across multiple sectors.
Pulwama Response Tech
In response to the Pulwama terror attack and the heightened tensions along the India–Pakistan border, we arranged for the deployment of over 600 drones and developed advanced base station technology to control them, enhancing the operational capabilities of Indian security forces. This innovation was formally presented to the Union Ministry of Defence through the Governor of Mizoram, Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan.
Kerala Flood 2018
Served as the Kerala Police State Coordinator during the 2018 Kerala floods, assisting in the rescue of over 1,000 people stranded in isolated areas. Utilized a fleet of 500 drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras to identify victims and deliver essential supplies, including food. Kerala became the first state in India to deploy drones extensively for disaster management, setting a precedent for technology-driven emergency response in the country
India's First Aerial Disaster Mapping
In 2018, led India's pioneering aerial flood mapping initiative titled "Comprehensive Digital Mapping and Photogrammetry Using UAVs," utilizing drone technology to capture real-time geospatial data. This initiative played a crucial role in disaster response, enabling authorities to assess flood-affected areas accurately and plan effective rescue, relief, and rehabilitation operations.
Puthumala Landslide: 2019
Served as the Kerala Police State Coordinator for the drone rescue team during the 2019 Puthumala landslide in Wayanad district, Kerala. Led critical aerial search operations using drones, successfully identifying multiple deceased victims in remote and inaccessible locations, thereby significantly aiding rescue teams in accelerating recovery and relief efforts.
Wayanad Landslide: 2024
During the 2024 Wayanad landslide, led rescue operations by pioneering India's first multi-level drone-based food-dropping technology. This innovative system enabled the efficient delivery of essential supplies to thousands of rescue volunteers across difficult terrains, significantly enhancing the speed, coordination, and effectiveness of relief efforts in remote and disaster-hit areas.
Kerala's Rescue Invention
Discovered and developed the 'Rescue Ranger,' a groundbreaking innovation in water safety. Officially launched by Shri P. Rajeev, Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir, Government of Kerala, the Rescue Ranger is the world's first multi-purpose life-saving equipment specifically designed for aquatic search and rescue operations. The concept was inspired by firsthand experiences during the 2018 and 2019 Kerala floods.
COVID-19 Drone Response
Served as the State Coordinator for Kerala Police during the COVID-19 lockdown, implementing advanced drone-based surveillance and monitoring technologies. These innovations played a vital role in crowd control, containment zone management, and public awareness, helping Kerala become the first Indian state to effectively manage the pandemic's initial stage with precision and efficiency.
Mission Coordinator -- Military Operations
Served as the Coordinator of the Drone Operator Wing during the Malampuzha Military Rescue Operation, which successfully rescued civilians stranded in a remote hill area. Utilized advanced drone technology for aerial surveillance, route mapping, and communication support, significantly enhancing coordination between military personnel and ground teams during the high-risk operation.
Illegal Liquor Detection
Assisted the Kerala State Excise Department during the COVID-19 lockdown by deploying drone technology to identify and monitor illegal alcohol production sites hidden in remote areas. This aerial surveillance enabled swift action, leading to multiple seizures and significantly curbing the illegal liquor trade during a critical public health emergency.
Customs Dept. Consultant
Collaborated with the Customs Department in inspecting and analyzing seized wireless communication equipment confiscated from airport passengers. Provided technical expertise to assess device functionality, potential security threats, and regulatory compliance, contributing to enhanced airport surveillance, improved enforcement of communication equipment regulations, and prevention of unauthorized technology usage in sensitive zones.
Wildlife Technologist
Collaborated with the Forest Department to deploy drone technology for tracking wild animals, rescuing injured wildlife, and detecting illegal poaching and logging activities. Supplied a large number of drones to the department, significantly enhancing their surveillance capabilities and response efficiency in forest conservation and wildlife protection efforts.
Agri-Technologist
Conducted numerous training sessions for farmers and students of Kerala's Agricultural University on integrating modern technologies into traditional farming practices, enhancing productivity and sustainability. Additionally, organized India's first-ever workshop on underwater farming, introducing the concept of glass-based underwater agriculture. This pioneering initiative opened new possibilities for innovative, climate-resilient farming techniques in the country's agricultural sector.
Farming Futurist
Proposed the establishment of India's largest technology-driven Research and Development lab focused on agriculture, aiming to revolutionize the sector through innovation. The initiative is designed to create extensive job opportunities and attract the younger generation by integrating advanced technologies such as automation, drones, IoT, and AI into farming practices. This visionary project aspires to modernize Indian agriculture, making it more efficient, sustainable, and appealing to future technologists and entrepreneurs.
STEM Advocate
Organized an extensive range of seminars, exhibitions, workshops, and airshows focused on aerospace, robotics, and artificial intelligence across numerous schools and colleges throughout India. These events played a pivotal role in promoting technological awareness, nurturing curiosity, and inspiring innovation among students. Through interactive demonstrations, expert sessions, and hands-on training, lakhs of students were empowered with foundational knowledge and practical exposure to emerging technologies. This large-scale initiative significantly contributed to building a future-ready, tech-savvy youth population across the nation.
Environmental Planner
Conducted a detailed study for the Kochi Corporation focused on the preservation and protection of shade trees within the city. The study involved on-ground assessments and environmental impact analysis, culminating in a set of strategic recommendations submitted to the Mayor Sri. Soumini Jain to promote sustainable urban greenery and combat rising urban temperatures.
