The Federation of Aerospace Engineers and Robotics Innovations (FAERI) successfully organized an impressive Airshow and Exhibition at the Vellayani Agriculture University, Trivandrum, in 2024. The event brought together students, professionals, technology enthusiasts, and members of the public to experience the latest advancements in aerospace engineering, drone technology, and aviation systems. It served as a dynamic platform for showcasing innovations developed by talented engineers and members of the federation.
The event was officially inaugurated by Sri. Nagaraju Chakilam IPS, the esteemed Inspector General of Police (IG) and Commissioner of Police, Trivandrum City. His presence added prestige to the program and reflected the increasing relevance of drone and aviation technologies in sectors such as security, surveillance, agriculture, and disaster management.
The Airshow featured exhilarating live flight demonstrations, including fixed-wing aircraft, multirotor drones, and advanced UAV systems. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with experts, explore engineering displays, and gain insights into the practical applications of modern aerial technologies.
This initiative strengthened public awareness and encouraged students to pursue careers in aerospace, robotics, and emerging high-tech fields. The 2024 Airshow stands as a significant milestone in FAERI’s mission to promote technological education and innovation across Kerala.
