As part of the Kerala Police “Drone KP” initiative, our team successfully organized a large-scale Airshow and Technology Exhibition titled OPEN SKY-2021 at the SAP Police Parade Ground, Trivandrum. This landmark event showcased cutting-edge drone technologies, advanced unmanned systems, and various innovations developed for public safety, emergency response, and law-enforcement applications. The programme was formally inaugurated by the Hon. Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, in the esteemed presence of DGP Sri. Anil Kant IPS and ADGP Sri. Manoj Abraham IPS, marking a proud moment for everyone involved.
OPEN SKY-2021 served as an exceptional platform for students, professionals, innovators, and officers from multiple departments to explore the future of aerospace and robotics. Live demonstrations, drone flight displays, and technology interactions gave participants valuable exposure to the rapidly evolving drone ecosystem. The event played a significant role in promoting innovation, fostering technical awareness, and strengthening Kerala’s leadership in the field of unmanned aerial systems.
